Industrial Design Summer 2015 Intern Position!

Job Description:

We are looking for an intern to join our team this summer to help with many aspects of the design process. Strong sketching skills are a must (by hand or on a tablet). Helping with CAD renderings would be a plus.

ID Intern- June thru August

In this collaborative role, our Interns would be required to work between 20 - 30 hours per week for 13 weeks during the summer.
This is a Paid internship. Students can also inquire about getting school credit.
Anticipated Start Date: June 1st.
Anticipated End Date: August 28th
Weekly schedule somewhat flexible

Qualifications:

Working towards a BS, BA or BFA in Industrial Design or recent graduate
Hand Sketching
Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator experience required
Experience or demonstrated interest in rapid prototyping
Attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills
Ability to communicate both verbally and visually and distill an idea down to its essence

Preferred Skills:

Sketching skills must be at an excellent level. Working knowledge of 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and Keyshot would be a huge plus.
